PULSAtron Series C Plus Metering Pump
12 GPD – 80 PSI, 115 VAC
Dual Manual Control
The stroke frequency and stroke length are manually adjustable, with a 100:1 maximum turndown ratio.
General Description
Pulsafeeder’s PULSAtron Series C Plus chemical metering pumps are positive displacement diaphragm pumps. The output volume is adjustable during operation, ranging from zero to maximum capacity.
These pumps feature state-of-the-art guided check valves with innovative seat and ball designs, ensuring precise seating, excellent priming, and superior suction life. The timing circuit is highly reliable and is designed to be virtually unaffected by temperature, EMI, and other electrical disturbances. Even under extended use, the Series C Plus pumps continue to meet their pressure and capacity specifications. This is due to the high-quality solenoid and special enclosure that efficiently dissipates heat. These pumps are agency approved and water-resistant, making them ideal for demanding indoor and outdoor applications.
Pump Controls
Adjustment is simple with two dial knobs: one to adjust stroke length and the other to adjust stroke frequency. Both knobs are located opposite the liquid handling end.
Drive Assembly
The pump drive is fully enclosed with no exposed moving parts. The electronics are housed in a chemical-resistant enclosure at the rear of the pump, offering maximum protection against chemical spills. The average electrical power consumption is 50 Watts.
Materials of Construction
For more details, refer to the specifications tab. The housing of the chemical metering pump is made of chemically resistant PBT thermoplastic, and all exposed fasteners are stainless steel. The valve seat and seal ring can be renewed by replacing the cartridge valve assembly.
