General Description
The Pulsafeeder PULSAtron Series A Plus chemical metering pumps are positive displacement, diaphragm-type pumps designed for precise chemical metering. The output volume is adjustable while the pump is operating, ranging from zero to maximum capacity. The pumps are equipped with guided check valves, featuring state-of-the-art seat and ball designs to provide precise seating, excellent priming, and long suction life. The timing circuit is highly reliable and, by design, virtually unaffected by temperature, EMI, and other electrical disturbances. Series A Plus pumps maintain their pressure and capacity specifications even during extended use, thanks to the high-quality solenoid and a special enclosure that dissipates heat effectively. The pumps are agency-approved and water-resistant, making them suitable for both outdoor and indoor applications.
Pump Controls
Adjustment is done using easily accessible dial knobs: one for adjusting stroke length and another for adjusting stroke frequency. Both knobs are located opposite the liquid handling end for convenience.
Drive Assembly
The pump drive is completely enclosed with no exposed moving parts. Electronics are housed in a chemical-resistant enclosure at the rear of the pump for maximum protection against chemical spills. The average electrical power consumption is 50 Watts.
