General Description
The Pulsafeeder PULSAtron Series A Plus chemical metering pumps are positive displacement, diaphragm-type pumps designed to provide precise chemical dosing. The output volume is adjustable while the pump is in operation, ranging from zero to maximum capacity. These pumps feature guided check valves with advanced seat and ball designs, ensuring precise seating, excellent priming, and long suction life. The timing circuit is highly reliable, virtually unaffected by temperature, EMI, and other electrical disturbances. The Series A Plus pumps continue to meet their pressure and capacity specifications even during extended use. This performance is supported by a high-quality solenoid and a special enclosure that effectively dissipates heat. These pumps are agency-approved and water-resistant, making them suitable for both demanding outdoor and indoor applications.
Pump Controls
Adjustment is straightforward with easily accessible dial knobs: one for adjusting stroke length and another for adjusting stroke frequency. Both knobs are located opposite the liquid handling end for convenience.
Drive Assembly
The pump drive is fully enclosed, with no exposed moving parts. The electronics are housed in a chemical-resistant enclosure at the rear of the pump, offering maximum protection against chemical spillage. The average electrical power consumption is 50 Watts.
